ONE SIP AT A TIME

Facts that you always wanted
to know about water

The #AWESOMM WATER TASTING BOXES are launched! 🥳

I've been working on them for a long time, and now they're finally available to order.

The AWESOMM TASTING BOXES! - Water tastings with a Certified Water Sommelier are now available online at any time.

In this blog post, I want to answer the most important questions about this new product.

Timo Bausch, Water Sommelier presents the #AWESOMM TASTING BOXES with water bottles in the background

Why did I create the tasting boxes?

I kept getting requests for online water tastings that I couldn't do due to low attendance or time constraints. I looked for a solution and found it in the tasting boxes.

Denn diese bieten Dir die Möglichkeit, mit mir online ein Wassertasting durchzuführen

  • whenever you want: Since the content is always available online, you can decide when you want to start the tasting.

  • with whom you want: Invite your friends and family to join you. Each box contains enough water for up to five people.

  • where you want: Since the content is always available online, you can taste from anywhere

Why should you definitely do an AWESOMM water tasting?

If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions, then the AWESOMM TASTING BOX is a must for you.

Would you like to...

  • drink more water?

  • discover the world of bottled water?

  • find out which water best suits your taste?

  • know which water your parents prefer?

  • know the difference between tap water and mineral water?

  • know what minerals are in water and why they are essential?

Which versions are available?

The AWESOMM TASTING BOXES come in two versions

AWESOMM LAUT: Perfect for those who like it without carbonation.

AWESOMM LEISE: Perfect for those who like it sparkling and carbonated.

What does an AWESOMM TASTING BOX contain?

Each box contains

  • 6 different mineral and healing waters

  • Up to five tasting sheets for comparison and note taking (specify number when ordering)

  • Up to five reusable tasting sheets (specify number when ordering)

  • 1x access to the online tasting (by e-mail)

What else do I need?

You will also need a laptop or computer to access the content. A pen for taking notes, and six white wine glasses. You can use other glasses, but white wine glasses look more elegant. It is important to use six identical glasses because the glasses can affect the sensory properties.

How long is the tasting?

Each tasting is divided into three sections:

  • The Introduction: Here you will learn about me, why I founded the SOMMCADEMY and what to expect during the tasting.

  • The Theory: This video is about basic theoretical understanding: What are the different types of water? What gives water its taste? What minerals are in water and what are they good for?

  • The Tasting: Well trained, we then move on to tasting each water. In addition to exciting stories, we will look at mineralization and taste the individual waters.

The tasting will take a maximum of 60 minutes. This depends, among other things, on your preparation time and your pace during the tasting.

I hope this answers the most important questions. If you still have questions, please email me at hello@sommcademy.com.

By the way: The AWESOMM TASTING BOXES are available in the store for just 49 Euros until December 24th. This is your chance to find out which water your friends and family like best on Christmas Eve!

With that said: Drink Water, #stayhydrated

Best regards.

About Timo Bausch

My fascination with mineral waters began in 2016 during my training as a Water Sommelier. Since then, I have been exploring the characteristics and diversity of water. In addition to pairing water with food, wine, coffee and other beverages, I offer the creation of water menus for restaurants and hotels. Furthermore, it is also important to me to draw attention to the importance of drinking water.
