As a certified Water Sommelier and the 2022 "Mineral Water Sensory Expert of the Year," I founded SOMMCADEMY to share the diversity and unique characteristics of mineral water with the world.

I focus on the world of natural mineral waters, including their origins, mineral content, sensory characteristics, and how they pair with food, tea, coffee, wine, and other beverages. In this way, water is not viewed in isolation, but as part of a holistic sensory experience.

 

The SOMMCADEMY offers a new way to experience water. At private tastings, gala dinners, corporate events, or at the SOMMCADEMY water bar. This gives rise to special encounters, engaging conversations, and surprising taste experiences that linger in the memory.

 

My many years of experience as a Water Sommelier have allowed me to collaborate with renowned brands like Lamborghini, GROHE, and BLANCO, as well as various wineries. Through these partnerships, I have had the opportunity to introduce numerous individuals to the world of natural mineral waters.

 

This work has received media coverage on Dubai Eye 103.8, hr Fernsehen, VICE, YouFM, WDR, Eurowings Magazine, and other platforms, reflecting the growing interest in mineral waters worldwide.
