Hello, I'm Timo.

I am a certified Water Sommelier and the 2022 Mineral Water Sensory Expert of the Year.

 

I am passionate about the unique characteristics of natural mineral waters, both individually and in comparison to each other, as well as when they are combined with food, tea, coffee, wine and other beverages. This passion for water and sensory perception, which I have, is something I would like to be shared with others.

Thanks to my extensive experience working at events, gala dinners and corporate events, I have already inspired many people with my passion for the world of water. Working at the SOMMCADEMY water bar is another exciting aspect of my role. This is where genuine connections are made: one-to-one conversations, personalised recommendations and unexpected taste experiences.

 

I have had the opportunity to work with renowned brands such as Lamborghini, Grohe, Blanco and Baron Knyphausen Winery. I would now like to bring my passion and expertise to the United Arab Emirates by hosting exclusive tastings and setting up water bars in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other cities.
